The main goal of the first phase was to create dedicated device thanks to which we were able to check the adopted technological assumptions. This is a significant advantage in terms of the physicomechanical properties of the implant. For comparison, a traditional 3D printer (FDM technology) allows printing of cylindrical structures only vertically. This requires a layered joining of the material, which creates a structure with completely different mechanical properties compared to the homogeneous print structure obtained in the solution presented above. The decisive advantage of the developed technology is the possibility of achieving a number of various 3D printed structures within one technological process.\tThe possibility of practically any manipulation of the shape of the implant and the material from which the printout can be made gives a huge range of applications depending on the needs.
