Next steps in research at Warsaw University of Technology.<\/p>\n
A few months ago, the first implementation of the original BioCloner Desktop Pro took place at Warsaw University of Technology. Since then, under the guidance of Dr hab. Beata Butruk-Raszeja, students have been using the device to test their solutions and conduct research for their theses.<\/p>\n
Intensive work is ongoing with the guidance of assistant supervisor Jakub Knap-Wardzy\u0144ski, who oversees the research processes. The tests focus on the area of 3D bioprinting using bacterial cellulose. Using it, students are working on creating a specialized bioink\u2014a biomaterial containing living cells\u2014and studying the conditions that best support its printing. This bioink could potentially be used in the future to create realistic models of tissues or organs.<\/p>\n
