On April 8, the BioCloner Health team visited the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN), where they implemented another BioCloner Desktop Pro device.
The meeting began with training sessions – the specialists conducted detailed, hands-on workshops designed to facilitate daily work with the 3D bioprinter. After discussing the device’s features and operating principles, participants had the opportunity to carry out the entire printing process themselves under the close supervision of the instructors.
During the meeting, the team also provided information regarding the available consumable materials. Thanks to the device's versatility and the ability to swap print heads, specialists at IPPT PAN can experiment with a wide range of substances – hydrogels attracted the most interest. There is also the possibility to customize both hardware components and software, allowing for optimal adaptation to the specific needs of the users.
The BioCloner Desktop Pro is now at the full disposal of the research team at PAN. In the modern, well-equipped laboratory – the Independent Laboratory of Polymers and Biomaterials – it will be used to carry out innovative research and development projects. The BioCloner Health team also provides ongoing support – their experts remain available to assist and answer any questions.
