Innovative dressings

Advances in 3D bioprinting are opening entirely new possibilities for treating wounds and skin damage. One of the most promising directions for the development of this technology is the creation of personalized, biological dressings that support the tissue regeneration process. Thanks to the advanced BioCloner Desktop Pro, it is now possible to design dressing structures that not only protect the wound but also actively promote its healing.

Dressings printed with living cells can be tailored to the individual needs of each patient—both in terms of shape and biological composition. Intensive research is underway to develop biocompatible materials that enable the creation of structures mimicking natural skin, containing, for example, fibroblasts or growth factors. This approach allows for a significant reduction in wound healing time and lowers the risk of infection or complications.

BioCloner Desktop Pro supports the development of dressings

Our company is developing technology that enables the precise printing of dressings in laboratory conditions. The BioCloner Desktop Pro has been designed to support research units and medical laboratories working on next-generation personalized materials.

Thanks to the precise layering of biomaterials, the device makes it possible to replicate the complex structure of the epidermis and dermis, and in the future—even blood vessels. Such dressings have the potential to be used not only in the treatment of chronic wounds, such as ulcers or bedsores, but also in the therapy of burns and traumatic injuries. 3D bioprinting, combined with the capabilities of the BioCloner Desktop Pro, marks a breakthrough toward the development of smart dressings that not only protect the wound but also serve as an active healing environment. This is a solution that, in the future, could significantly improve the quality of patient care and contribute to a faster recovery.
