Returning to the mixer project itself, the task we faced was both designing and building the device’s structure, as well as developing and implementing control over the entire technological process. It is worth mentioning that the whole project was carried out from the very first stage. We started the project having the technological assumptions and step by step we developed each stage of it. Going through all stages of design – from conceptualization through testing to prototype development – we managed to create a solution that is not only useful in itself but also has the potential for adaptation to demanding technological processes of non-Newtonian fluid production. The most significant aspect of this project is its scientific value. The constant need for adapting the process to the evolving know-how of Smart Fluid SA necessitates quick action from us in implementing new improvements in both construction and process control. Maintaining constant cooperation during our partners’ technology development provides us with a wonderful opportunity to exchange experiences and derive great satisfaction from a job well done.
